Al Howard


Currently working with large public sector bodies providing strategic property advice to maximise the value of estate holdings, and identify and release surplus land back into the private sector for development. 


He qualified in May 2002 as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has over 16 years of experience in investment, development and asset management of mixed use properties throughout the UK.

Al has both private and public sector experience.  He previously worked with NHS Property Services where he was tasked with the delivery of the company’s acquisition and disposal programme; overseeing the sale of 230 surplus land holdings, creating 2,500 new housing units, and delivering a capital receipt of £165m.  During this time, he was involved in a number of major strategic projects including Dulwich Hospital site, the former Ridge Hill Hospital, and Soho Square Hospital.

Within the private sector he was Asset Management Director at Targetfollow where he successfully established a strong and experienced team that worked through a programme of major asset disposals; setting the strategies to maximise value through planning, development and project management. His responsibility was also to deliver asset performance through property enhancement and development.  During his 5 years at Targetfollow he worked on a number of high profile Central London regeneration schemes, including Centre Point and 66 Chiltern Street.

Al stated his career within Asset Management at Cushman and Wakefield, and was an Associate Director at King Sturge; both major Central London property advisory firms.
